4th Feb 2012: After 3 years of praying and planning, finally the ground breaking ceremony was held on Feb 4, 2012 for the Vocational Training Centre and the Girls hostel. Bishop Elia Peter was the chief guest. Many christian leaders, friends and staff of Asha Kiran were present on this occasion. Mrs Sushma George is the Architect and Mr. Suresh is the contractor. Please pray that this building will come up for God’s glory and many special children will benefit from this.

Total Built upon 4,000 Sq. ft. each
- Stilt Floor: Parking
- Ground Floor: 7 classrooms for Vocational Training
- First Floor: Girls’ Hostel to accommodate 30 girls
- Second Floor: Staff Quarters
Total area of all the floors 16,000 Sq. ft.
Expected date of completion 31st May 2013 (subject to availability of funds)
Total expected cost Rs. 2 Crores , US $450,000,UK Pounds £300,000
Balance amount still required Rs. 1,15,00,000, US $ 260,000, UK Pounds £153,400
Donations towards the above mentioned building project is welcome. Indian donors can get tax deductible certificate under 80G of the Income tax Act.
