LESSONS FROM PLANTS

One Sunday morning last month, on a short trip towards the outskirts of Bangalore I came across this inspiration, “A plant trying to hold on to its ground against the strong currents of the water gushing over it and along with that it kept aiming for the light above from the blue azure sky.” I tried to capture its strength into my small lens of the camera so that it continues to remind me that no matter what life throws at you, hold on, fight with all your might, and leave the rest to the invincible power above.

While taking this picture, I was thinking how this plant found an ecosystem to survive and thrive through this hard cement surface. It may have found its way through a crack in the surface and made the most of it to thrive and bloom. So, no matter how dark the tunnel is, keep walking as there is light at the end of it and make the most of life changing opportunities.

Reach for the people, things and work. That bring you light, even when life feels dark. It’s challenging but worth it. Another lesson from plants
